Nate Remlinger, Phd

Nate Remlinger joined Pinnacle Transplant Technologies as Director of Research and Product Development in January 2023. In this role, Nate is responsible for all aspects of scientific research, product development, and process improvements, including the identification, management, and execution of opportunities within the product pipeline, with the goal to deliver the highest quality tissue-based implants.

Nate has over 15 years of experience in the regenerative medicine field with extensive knowledge in product development, process engineering, and translational preclinical and clinical research. Prior to joining Pinnacle, Nate held various R&D leadership roles in the medical device industry at Integra LifeSciences and ACell, Inc. During his tenure at Integra and ACell, Nate directed efforts to design and develop innovative products for Wound Care, General Surgery, and Cardiovascular clinical applications.

Nate earned his BS in Bioengineering from Penn State University and his PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh, where his doctoral dissertation was titled, “Engineering Contractile Myocardial Tissue Using Extracellular Matrix Scaffolds”.
